Alright, well my name is Andres Martinez. I'm the administrator for The Green Day Authority, www.greendayauthority.com. It's a fansite for Green Day - not just any fansite - the best one ever! It's my full time job (other than going to school), so I try my best to do as much as I can on there to make the site better than the day before. I pretty much taught myself HTML and PHP/MySQL by trial and error, with the exception of one class on basic PHP and Linux. So most of my time I work on learning new stuff, and figuring out how to implement these ideas into the site. I know enough to keep the site growing, so I'm happy with that.

I turned 20 in June. Me and my best friend live together in Las Cruces, New Mexico (which is part of the United States just incase you didn't know), and I'm currently going to college for both Website Administration and Political Science/Public Administration. I'm not 100% sure which path I want to take for sure, right now I'm leaning towards politics.

What else can i say about myself? I've been a member of dA since January, but I mainly browse through photos, wallpapers, and occasionally drop by the forums. I just bought a month subscription so I can "test-drive" it, now that I'm going to try to be apart of this community a bit more. So this journal was just to make sure i knew what it was.
